the perfect summer shirt
i’m not a big polo shirt kind of guy. i used to be. that was until i realized that lacoste was french for man boobs. (the last sentence is not factual. their polos seems to amplify my man boobs, so i had to break away from them. i don’t think their business has suffered.) for the last 5 years, i’ve only worn polo shirts on the golf course. i haven’t missed them a bit. in fact, i’ve pretty much avoided them until yesterday when i stumbled upon this polo shirt at j. crew. i’m into this magnum p.i. hawaiian shirt thing that’s in right now, so i thought i’d give it a shot. i didn’t expect much. i was wrong. the shirt fit like it was made for my body – not too slim and not too big. it’s extremely soft and light-weight i.e. perfect for the summer time. i look nothing like the gentleman in the picture above, but that’s ok, because when i tried it on for my old lady (brit speak for girlfriend), she said, “dayum!” that’s a direct quote. you can buy your very own here. please wear responsibly.
