sperry top-sider oxford wingtip

sperry top-sider introduced their premium “cloud” collection sometime last year.  one of the shoes they featured was the suede wingtip you see above.  the cool thing about this shoe is that it follows the traditional wingtip design, but is accented with sperry’s rubber sole and leather laces.  if you’ve been thinking about a casual wingtip that you’d like to wear this fall and don’t want to drop several hundred bucks, then this is the one to get.  you can order your pair here.

sperry cloud cvo sneakers

i love canvas sneakers.  they’re cheap and look good with anything besides formal wear.  i’m a vans man first and foremost, but these sperry 75th anniversary cvo sneaks are the nuts.  i saw them on selectivism last week and bookmarked the hell out of that page.  the only problem with the link they attached to the post is that it’s for a store in the uk and they’re out of a bunch of sizes.  fear not for i have found some here.  if you want the red (above), they’re only $40 right now.  act fast because they may not be around for long.

sperry 2011 fall corduroy chukka

i’m a sucker for sperry chukkas.  these are no exception.  the uppers are made of waxed canvas and corduroy with leather laces and a gum sole.  i’m glad a lot of brands are jumping on the waxed canvas train (see l.l. bean signature bean boot).  i’m pissed i have to wait until next fall to get my hands on these.  they’ll be worth the wait.

transition shoes: the sperry chukka

it might be the start of fall, but i’m not ready to give up my sperry top-siders just yet.  i need a transition shoe from the end of one season to the next.  the sperry chukka from j. crew is the perfect mix of summer and fall.  you can thrown on without socks for the next couple of weeks until your feet can’t take the chill any more.

too much sperry top-sider?

i couldn’t survive without my sperry boat shoes.  besides my work kicks i don’t think i’ve worn another shoe all summer (sorry slip on vans).  i’m not sure if the world has been clamoring for a sperry boot, but what do i know.  these might not even be new.  don’t get me wrong i love the chukkas sperry offers but a full on tall boot?  i don’t know what to think.  for one i think they look great, but what about functionality.  when would i wear these?  what do the soles look like?  i have so many questions.  does anyone have some or have an opinion on them?  are they just a bit too much?  i don’t know.

sperry top-sider winter boat shoe

comes with a shearling liner to keep your feet warm.  i don’t know too many people that go boating in the winter, but that shouldn’t stop you or me from buying some.  they look comfortable.
